Make sure your Enter to Win tab is visible on your Business page.

Having your ‘Enter to Win’ tab visible on your Facebook business page makes it easier for your fans to enter your Dream Sweeps sweepstakes. If this tab is not visible, select the ‘More’ drop-down under your cover photo and click ‘Manage Tabs.’ Drag the ‘Enter to Win’ bar into one of the top 3 slots to have it appear on your page. Then click ‘Save.’

Help build a buzz around your sweepstakes by reminding your fans to enter.

Dream Sweeps automatically posts to your page 4 times a month prompting your fans to enter/reenter your sweepstakes. Build extra buzz around your sweepstakes by supplementing additional reminder posts. Feel free to copy and paste this verbiage into your status bar: “Enter my Dream Sweeps sweepstakes for your chance to win $600 in gift cards! This is the perfect prize for new home buyers or anyone doing a little remodeling. Simply click the ‘Enter to Win’ tab on the left side of my page!”

Promoting Your Dream Sweeps.

There are several ways that people find out about your sweepstakes. In your Dream Sweeps confirmation email we send you a link to promote your sweepstakes on your Facebook business page, personal profile, or elsewhere. When someone ‘likes’ your page to enter your sweepstakes, news feed stories are shown to the entrant’s friends, extending your viral reach.

Dream Sweeps also utilizes promotional wall posts that are automatically posted to your business and personal pages. These posts appear on your pages 4 times a month and prompt your fans to enter/re-enter your sweepstakes.

Creating a Facebook Business Page for Dream Sweeps.

Before you can sign up for Dream Sweeps you will need to create a Facebook Business page. It only takes a few minutes to create a page and there are several benefits for agents:

  • Facebook business pages give real estate agents powerful marketing capabilities
  • Created under your personal profile but are used to conduct business
  • Free and easy to create
  • Searchable on Facebook and Google
  • Allow applications to be added to enhance your page
  • Provide highly targeted promotional options

How are Dream Sweeps prizes paid out?

Dream Sweeps prizes are paid out in the form of a gift cards valued at $600 USD. The prize may be distributed across different gift cards.

What is a real estate agent's role in Dream Sweeps?

As an agent, your role in Dream Sweeps is to simply host the tab (button) on your Facebook business page. We handle the rest!

Does the agent get the lead's information?

Yes. When people enter your sweepstakes and agree to the permissions of our Property Pins app, their lead information is captured. If they do not agree to the permissions, they are given a unique visitor ID that is used to identify them and attempt to recapture their information if they enter your sweepstakes again in the future. These users will be listed as anonymous leads in your dashboard.

How are the winners selected?

One winner is randomly selected each month. If one of your fans is selected as the winner, we will send the prize directly to them on your behalf. The winner is chosen from a pool of entries, not just the entries on your page.

How do we find out who won?

We post the winner to your Facebook business page each month.

How are prizes awarded? Who gives the prize to the winner?

Prizes are awarded directly to the prize recipient on behalf of the agent. Prizes are mailed directly to the winner.

Will I get less page likes for my contest if the winner is not local to my area?

Only the name of the winner, not the location, will be disclosed. Your page likes will not be negatively impacted if the winner is not from your area.

What is the approximate chance of being selected a winner?

The chance of winning is dependent upon the number of entries received per drawing. This number will vary from month to month due to the number of agents that have Dream Sweeps and also how many times fans choose to enter individually.

I just signed up for Dream Sweeps - how do I add the tab on my page?

Facebook recently made some changes, which meant that only people who have more than 2,000 fans on their business page can add the Shop tab in their brand’s social profile.

While these changes were put into place in order to help protect all Facebook user’s personal information, they put a lot of small businesses in an unfavorable position.

In light of this change, we are happy to say that we can provide a solution, which basically means that there are a few more steps, and we will add the tab for you! Since we have a team with facebook developer roles we can add tabs on behalf of our customers – all you need to do is send an email to cs@homeasap.com requesting this service, and we will contact you within a few business days with the details.
